This stage is all about deciding on what you would like to offer first, putting together the outline of how you will actually achieve what you want (your Artist’s Business Plan), your ideal customer, the money side of things and then physically committing to dates and times with your planners to understand the reality of time available as you begin to balance out your schedule between your creative practice and the business stuff.

I am building the foundations of my biz.

This stage is where you are fleshing out your Marketing Plan, based on your target audience, you will be creating a strategy for yourself that will best engage your ideal customer (woohoo!). Then you will set up your main Sales Platform, your Email Marketing Provider and chosen Social Media. You will also be diving into using project planning and your best time management skills to build a weekly and monthly routine that works well for you.

I am getting out there and making sales.

This stage is where you are beginning to tell the world your story and engaging with your first
audience. Building your mailing list and really planning, delivering and
debriefing yourself from your first launch event to take as many learnings
from the experience as possible. You will also be focusing on consistently
communicating on all your platforms before running more promotions until you have generated the first significant amount of income into your
art business.

I am growing and gaining recognition.

This stage is where you are focusing on really hitting your stride, from
achieving business breakeven, getting really good at managing your money and working on the development of your products and services, expanding what you offer. As you work on running multiple promotions and booking up your diary, it will be all things creation and promotion until you hit a profit in your business of at least 25%!

I am living my art biz dream.

This stage is where you are taking a salary from your business, making regular sales, learning to delegate tasks and being okay with giving them away, so that you can free up more time for yourself.
Feeling confident and totally in flow with your marketing routine, your art business balance and feeling excited to keep learning new and wonderful things. Your main focus now is expanding, honing, creating new things and
enjoying every last bit of the journey!

Absolutely not. The ABA membership is accessed the same way you would any online platform; with your email and password. Then everything is there to watch or read, plus any instructions, etc. You can also reach out for any support via email.

If you are currently not on Facebook (which we totally understand), there are a couple of easy options. Option 1: Sign up for a Facebook profile and just use this to access and be a part of our ABA community. A lot happens in the group, so we’d hate for you to miss out. Option 2: You can ask all your questions, leave comments and start or join a conversation underneath all the content items within the portal itself.

No, it’s all in the ABA membership portal. There is a weekly email each Monday with news, announcements and updates to keep you on top of what is happening.

You will be sent your own personal log-in details (keep those safe), to the ABA membership site which is hosted via a company called ‘Kajabi’. From there you can log in and view all the content at your leisure 24/7. We help all new members at the start with how to find everything they need.

Extremely. Luckily we host this membership and our courses on a platform called Kajabi, which is really user friendly. So, from the moment you log in, you’ll see our Welcome Video and all the content organised in categories. Click to one of those and then into a specific item. You can also search for topics too.

We LOVE questions and we actively encourage our members to ask them. You can post your question anytime either in our Facebook Group, or under a specific piece of content in the ABA membership portal. We also hold a monthly live Q&A in the group, so you will never be left with questions unanswered.

No, this will auto-renew (just like the monthly option) exactly one year after you joined up. We suggest you add this to your cashflow spreadsheet and make a note of when the payment will come out. Annual is the smart option if you want to save and get two months free! If you’d like to switch to monthly after a year you can reach out to us by email and we’ll help you to get that sorted.

Of course, we totally hope you’ll LOVE the ABA. But we also understand that sometimes life gets in the way and you can find yourself with things that you aren't using. You can cancel any time from within the membership portal, by going to billing and ‘cancel’.
